3. Eligibility
This giveaway is open only to natural persons who, at the time of entry:
- are aged 18 years or over; and
- are legal residents of a Member State of the European Union.
4. No purchase necessary
No purchase is necessary to enter or win this giveaway. Making a purchase will not increase the chances of winning.
5. Giveaway period
The giveaway opens at 9:00 AM [CEST] on 14 April 2026 and closes at 11:59 PM [CEST] on 1 May 2026.
Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.
6. How to enter
To enter the giveaway, an eligible participant must during the giveaway period:
- complete the entry form;
- provide a valid email address;
- answer the question:
“How many people do you think will enter this giveaway by 1 May 2026?” - confirm acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
Only one entry per person and per email address is permitted, unless expressly stated otherwise by the Promoter.
Entries that are incomplete, illegible, inaccurate, automatically generated, submitted through bots, scripts, or similar methods, or otherwise not in accordance with these Terms will be void.
7. Optional newsletter signup
Subscription to the Promoter’s newsletter is entirely optional and is not a condition of entry.
Choosing to subscribe to the newsletter does not improve an entrant’s chances of winning.
If an entrant chooses to subscribe, the entrant agrees to receive marketing emails from the Promoter until unsubscribing. Consent may be withdrawn at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting the Promoter at contact@lauvender.com
8. Prize
The prize is one copy of the book How to Turn an Ordinary Life into an Extraordinary Life. The prize will be provided by email in the form of a discount code that makes the book free at checkout and also covers standard delivery. The prize may only be redeemed for delivery within the European Union. The book cannot be sent outside the EU due to legal and regulatory restrictions applicable to non-EU jurisdictions.
The code is valid for one use only, is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is available.
Any optional extra services selected by the winner, including express or upgraded delivery, are not included.
All eligible participants who enter the giveaway but are not selected as the winner will receive a separate €5 discount code to use toward a future purchase on lauvender.com. This discount code will be sent by email after the winner has been confirmed. The €5 discount code is non-transferable, will be subject to a validity period of 1 month and additional usage conditions specified in the email, and no cash alternative is available.
9. Winner selection
After the Closing Date, the winner will be the eligible entrant whose guess is closest to the total number of valid entries received by 11:59 PM [CEST] on 1 May 2026.
For the purposes of these Terms, “valid entries” means entries that comply with these Terms and are not duplicate, fraudulent, incomplete, late, or otherwise invalid.
If two or more eligible entrants submit equally close guesses, the winner will be the eligible entrant whose valid entry was submitted first, according to the Promoter’s records.
10. Winner notification
The winner will be contacted by email using the email address submitted with the entry within 5 business days after the winner has been determined.
If the selected winner:
- declines the prize;
- or is found to be in breach of these Terms,
the Promoter may disqualify that entrant and select an alternative winner using the same winner-selection process.
11. Prize delivery
The winner will receive the prize code by email within 5 business days of being confirmed as the winner.
The code may be used to obtain one copy of How to Turn an Ordinary Life into an Extraordinary Life free of charge, including standard delivery.
The winner is responsible for redeeming the code in accordance with the instructions.
12. European Union only
This giveaway is intended only for eligible residents of the European Union.
The prize is limited to delivery within the European Union. Due to legal and regulatory requirements that may apply outside the EU, the Promoter is unable to send the book to addresses outside the European Union. Entries from persons residing outside the EU are therefore not eligible.
13. Disqualification
The Promoter may disqualify any entrant who:
- breaches these Terms;
- provides false, incomplete, or misleading information;
- attempts to manipulate the entry process or outcome;
- uses multiple identities, multiple email addresses, bots, scripts, or other unfair means;
- or acts in a way that compromises the fairness or integrity of the giveaway.
If a winner is disqualified, the Promoter may award the prize to another eligible entrant using the same process set out in these Terms.
14. Limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Promoter is not responsible for:
- lost, delayed, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected, or undelivered entries;
- technical failures of any kind, including website, hardware, software, or network failures;
- any inability of an entrant to participate for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
15. Changes, suspension, or cancellation
The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, amend, cancel, or withdraw the giveaway where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including fraud, abuse, technical problems, or legal or regulatory reasons.

16. Data protection
Personal data submitted in connection with this giveaway will be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
16.1 Data collected
The Promoter may collect and process:
- email address;
- tiebreaker answer;
- entry submission time and date;
- confirmation that you’re at least 18 years old and a legal resident of a Member State of the European Union;
- confirmation of acceptance of these Giveaway Terms;
- newsletter consent status.
16.2 Purposes
The Promoter uses personal data to:
- administer the giveaway;
- prevent duplicate or fraudulent entries;
- select and contact the winner;
- deliver the prize;
- send the €5 discount code by email to eligible participants who did not win;
- maintain records relating to the lawful administration of the giveaway.
Where an entrant separately consents to marketing, the Promoter will also use the entrant’s email address to send newsletters and promotional communications.
16.3 Retention
Personal data will be kept only for as long as necessary for the administration of the giveaway and related legal, compliance, and record-keeping purposes.
Unless a longer period is required by law:
- non-winning entry data will generally be deleted within 90 days after the giveaway is completed;
- winner data will be retained for as long as needed for prize fulfilment and legal or tax compliance;
- newsletter data will be retained until the individual unsubscribes.
16.4 Rights
Entrants have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to processing, and, where applicable, request data portability.
17. Winner information
Where required by applicable law, the Promoter may disclose limited information about the winner.
Any entrant who objects to the publication or disclosure of winner information should contact the Promoter. The Promoter may still disclose relevant information where legally required to do so.
18. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Belgium.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the courts of Belgium, unless mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
20. Acceptance
By entering the giveaway, each entrant confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
